Your 7 Step Guide to Compensation

Depending on the type of claim and the facts in question the general procedure is outlined as follows:

 

  1. Submit your claim online or call Free 0800 389 9136 to start a claim.
     
  2. We will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your claim further. We will advise you as to the merits of your claim and issue you with an action plan.
     
  3. The relevant documentation will be sent out you for you to read, sign and return. Should you require we could also arrange a meeting for you to discuss in person.
     
  4. We will obtain any required documentation (medical records, police reports etc.) to investigate all aspects of your case fully.
     
  5. Once your opponent concedes liability we will instruct a specialist medical expert to meet with you at your convenience and prepare an  in-depth report. This will be used to assess the value of your claim. 
     
  6. Your opponent will make an offer to settle the claim. 
     
  7. We will obtain the maximum amount of compensation possible for your injury.

 

Occasionally your opponent will dispute liability or may offer an amount we believe to be unacceptable. In such circumstances, we will  advise you to issue proceedings and prepare your case for court. We will arrange all of this for you under our No Win No Fee arrangement. However,  please note nearly 95% of cases are settled out of court.
